Helping Leaders and Teams Navigate Growth

Leadership workshops and experiences that develop stronger leaders, stronger teams, and sustainable growth.

Growth Changes Everything.

Growth creates opportunity—but it also brings new challenges.

  • Leadership gets more complicated.

  • Communication breaks down.

  • New leaders step into unfamiliar roles.

  • Culture starts to slip.

  • Vision becomes blurred.

  • It’s harder to see the big picture.

  • Even experienced leaders can feel uncertain about what comes next.

You don't need to throw out the map.

You need a Compass Rose.

And a guide who can help you navigate what's next.

Your Strengths are your Compass Rose

When my husband and I spent seven months living aboard our sailboat and cruising the East Coast, I was the navigator. One tool was always at the center of every nautical chart: the Compass Rose.

It didn't tell us where to go. It gave us a trusted point of reference so we could confidently choose our course.

That's why I often refer to CliftonStrengths as the Compass Rose for leaders.

Before you change your strategy, restructure your team, or chase the next leadership trend, start with what already exists—your people's natural strengths.

Your strengths don't determine your destination. They help you navigate every decision with greater clarity, confidence, and purpose.

When leaders understand the strengths already on board, everything changes.

You lead with greater confidence because you're making decisions from what naturally works—not trying to become someone you're not.

When teams understand one another's strengths, communication improves, collaboration becomes easier, and engagement grows. Instead of simply filling roles, you're developing stronger leaders from within.

That's why CliftonStrengths is at the heart of every workshop and coaching experience I lead. It's the proven tool I bring to help leaders discover the strengths already on board—and use them to navigate whatever comes next.

And that’s why every leadership journey starts with strengths.

Strengths-Based Coach • Workshop Facilitator • Mentor • Author

I'm Sheri Miter—a Gallup-Certified CliftonStrengths® Coach, workshop facilitator, author, and mentor passionate about helping leaders, teams, and growing organizations navigate change with greater clarity, confidence, and purpose.

For more than 25 years, I built and led a high-performing team in direct sales, ultimately earning the iconic Pink Cadillac with Mary Kay. Along the way, I discovered that the strongest teams aren't built by trying to fix weaknesses—they're built by recognizing and developing the strengths already on board.

Despite achieving what many would consider the pinnacle of success, I realized something important: external success doesn't always create internal alignment. I knew it was time to leave a career I loved and pursue work that better reflected my strengths, values, and calling.

That decision led me to become a Gallup-Certified CliftonStrengths® Coach and to launch Sheri Miter Co., where I now partner with leaders, entrepreneurs, growing organizations, and first-responder agencies to build stronger leaders and healthier teams through strengths-based leadership.

Whether I'm helping a small business owner expand their impact, a leadership team strengthen its culture, or a fire department develop its next generation of leaders, my focus is always the same: helping people discover the strengths already on board so they can lead with confidence and create lasting impact.

When we work together, you'll receive honest, strengths-based guidance and faith-rooted encouragement tailored to help you grow as a leader and navigate whatever comes next.

Much like my years of sailing, meaningful growth and leadership require clarity, courage, adaptability, and a trusted point of reference. That's why CliftonStrengths has become the Compass Rose I bring to every workshop, coaching conversation, and leadership journey.

My Top 5 CliftonStrengths® themes are:

Futuristic®, Maximizer®, Self-Assurance®, Command®, and Strategic®

These themes shape the way I lead, coach, and facilitate every workshop—bringing vision, strategic thinking, confidence, and a deep belief in what's possible for people and teams.

While CliftonStrengths provides a powerful framework, it's only part of what I bring. With more than 25 years of entrepreneurial leadership experience, I combine strengths-based strategy with practical, real-world insight to help leaders navigate growth with clarity and confidence.
