Be 10X More Successful: Set Strengths-Based Goals in 2024

According to a recent Gallup article, seven in 10 U.S. adults set goals for themselves at the start of the new year, with one-third telling Gallup they are “very likely” to do so and another 38% “somewhat likely.”

On the downside… Other research found on a Google search suggests that only 9% of Americans who make resolutions complete them. In fact, some research shows that 23% of people quit their resolution by the end of the first week, and 43% quit by the end of January.

What if this year, you could be among the 9% who not only complete their goals but surpass them? Do you want to set goals that excite and motivate you?  Are you ready to align your goals with your natural strengths and talents? Goals that challenge you but are still achievable because you have what it takes to accomplish them! Goals that are based on the person God created you to be and what HE wants you to achieve!

Goals that are based on our natural talents & strengths!

Let's explore the power of Strength-based goal setting and how it can elevate your chances of success.

Setting BEING goals means focusing on who we want to be and how we want to show up in the coming year. It's all about leveraging our natural talents to define our aspirations. Reflecting on our top talent themes, we can evaluate how we used them in the past year and how we envision embodying them in the future. This reflective process allows us to pinpoint the specific strengths we want to lean into and be known for.

On the flip side, DOING goals involve what we want to achieve based on our strengths. By setting SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) goals within distinct categories like career, well-being, or finance, we carve out a path toward meaningful achievements. Additionally, identifying the action steps and visualizing the process of achieving these goals further solidifies our commitment and confidence in our capabilities.
